Trim by Open Curve

This option allows the user to trim surfaces by selected curves or building curves.
This option is best used if the curves selected go beyond the surface that is going to be trimmed.

The Curve Editor window will open and the user can now build the curve needed. After the curve is selected, it is recommended to close the curve by selecting the Close button. The Selection window will now be displayed and the user will select the surfaces to trim. Once the surfaces are selected click the OK button. The user must then select which surfaces to be removed in the Selection window. Confirm by selecting OK. Examples below.
