Create ToothPath
The user has the ability to create all the types of tool paths needed to complete the work piece. There are four different buttons one for roughing, semi finishing, finishing, and creating 2D operations. Each has a series of different operations to choose from. Some operations are the same type under each button but the tolerances are different to allow for the type of finish needed.
The operations in the Roughing, Semi-Finish, and Finish are the same besides the top operation in each one, Z-Cut Solid and the Planar Remachine. The operations are the same therefore the parameters will have the same meaning. The Pocket 2D will have all different parameters to file in.
If the machine has a quill, and the head and post of the machine are setup properly, this option will be displayed in the toolpath options window. This option will control the length that the quill will retract. This value will need to be a negative number. With this option the quill value can be different for each operation. If those operations are posted together the quill will adjust for each operation in that posted file.
