Milling Tol – this is the milling tolerance for the program. Adjust this to make the points tighter and more accurate. As a suggestion leave all tolerances at their default.
Entry Inc. – this is the distance which the program will start to feed in on the Z-axis before touching the steel.
Min Material – this is the amount of material that the program is looking for when doing a re-machine.
Exit Inc. – the distance the program stays in feed mode when it lifts from the steel.
Window Parameters – this will allow the user to pick what side of the window for the tool to be on.
Cut by Zone - the program will stay in one area until it is finished. With this unchecked the program will cut by Z-level. It will complete one Z-level before moving to the next.
Protect against Carrot BuildUp – with this selected, along with the Carrot Distance value entered, the cutter will not go into areas where material will build up at the center of the tool. With it unchecked it will go anywhere the tool will fit.
Clean Flats – with this option selected the program will cut all flats to the proper stock allowance. If the option is unchecked, it will leave whatever amount of stock the Z-level works out to be.
