Tool Section

In this section the user will be defining a tool in which to cut the work piece. There are two ways to complete this action.
1. Select Browse and select a premade tool out of the tool database. There are three different areas to select from, Tools, Assembly and ATC. It is highly recommended that the user selects a tool from the ATC or the Assembly. The system will check for collisions against the tool hold if one of these two are selected.
2. The user can simply fill in all tool information including diameter, radius, feed and speed. The user can also determine if the coolant or air is to be on or off. There is also the ability to use an optional stop if the machine is equipped with it. These parameters will need to be setup by a Mach2D technician.
