How to Copy Lemoine Software from an Old Computer to a New Computer Without a Network Database.

1. Locate the software on the old computer at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Lemoine Technologies. 2. Copy this folder (Lemoine Technologies) to a drive accessible from the new computer (e.g., server or USB key). 3. Copy the 7_XX folder and the Config file from C:\Users\Public\AppData\Lemoine\Rtm. Place these on the desktop of the new computer (you will need them in step 11). 4. Copy the Lemoine Technologies folder to the new computer and place it in the same location: C:\Program Files (x86). 5. After copying the folder, right-click it, go to Properties > Security, and grant the user FULL CONTROL over the folder. 6. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Lemoine Technologies\Rtm Version 7 and locate RTMBAR.exe. Create a shortcut on the desktop. 7. Still in the same folder, locate the executable used to generate the CMP.VKC file (exact file name not provided). Right-click it and choose 'Run as Administrator.' This will create a CMP.VKC file. Email this file to your Lemoine agent to obtain a new license key. 8. Once your Lemoine agent sends you the new license file, copy it into the same folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Lemoine Technologies\Rtm Version 7. Then, right-click the appropriate executable and select 'Run as Administrator.' A confirmation window should appear stating 'Key Installed Correctly.' Your new license is now installed. 9. Open RTMBAR, click the Config icon, and then close it. This step creates the folder that will host the 7_XX and Config files.

10. Go to C:\Users\Public\AppData\Lemoine\Rtm and copy the 7_XX and Config files from the desktop (from step 3) into this folder.

11. Ensure the user has Read/Write = Full Control over the following folders:

  1. C:\Users\Public\AppData\Lemoine\RTM
  2. C:\Program Files (x86)\Lemoine Technologies

12. Open RTMBAR from the desktop and click the Config button.

13. Select the Options tab. Press Ctrl + F12 to activate the Private tab. Ensure the Protection Key is set to 'Virtual Key.'
14. Reboot the computer. After rebooting, the new computer should be able to run the Lemoine software using the new virtual license. If you have any questions or issues, please contact your Lemoine-Mach 2D Solutions Applications Engineer for prompt assistance.
