The Flat Machining program is made up of 8 sections.
1. Files – give the program a name and select a window if needed.
2. Tool – select tool and give the tool parameters.
3. Check/Update – checking for violation or updating the stock model.
4. Select Flat Surfaces – for selecting the flat surfaces that the user wants to cut.
5. Geometry – set upper and lower limits, stocks and step overs.
6. Pocketing Style – setup how the user wants to clear out the stock.
7. Clearance Area Options – set the step overs and corner radius.
8. Pocket Options – setup the way the user wants to enter and exit.
